Getting started with Magnolia
Welcome! If you’re new to Magnolia and want to get started, this is the right place to begin. This page covers starter topics for Magnolia DX Core, which is the on-premise version of Magnolia. If you’re looking for the platform-as-a-service option, check out Magnolia PaaS documentation.
Magnolia is an enterprise-grade Digital Experience Platform DXP that allows you to build flexible and fast solutions for demanding multi-channel, multi-language and multi-site digital experiences.
Magnolia’s modular architecture is well-suited for building industry-specific solutions that require scalability, reliability and excellent support.
With Magnolia DXP, you’ll benefit from quick project delivery, WYSIWYG integration with Single Page Applications via the SPA editor, a wide range of out-of-the-box integrations and — most importantly — vertically-focused integration frameworks that enable integration with all tools in the adjacent industries.
With DX Core (on-prem), you’ll need to install Magnolia. These links provide you with information on not only installing Magnolia, but important core concepts around Magnolia instances, what a bundle is, an introduction to webapps, and the Magnolia CLI.
Maybe you want to explore Magnolia a bit more before trying it out properly. In this case, we have several pages dedicated to introducing you to Magnolia including demos, project guidance, templating, as well as an introduction to Magnolia apps and modules.
If you’re ready to get your hands dirty, you can jump right in and get started by trying out Magnolia yourself. The following provide a starting point for using Magnolia.
