Please do not upgrade to this version of Magnolia. We strongly recommend you wait for the next release of Magnolia CMS.

The upcoming release will address a caching issue found shortly after releasing Magnolia 6.2.47 and potentially causing side effects in your installations.

Additionally, the next release will also provide a fix for the known bulk drag and drop issue in the DAM module.

Magnolia CMS 6.2.47 introduces a few improvements including file restrictions for bulk uploads as well as preventing cache entry duplication. We also fixed a few issues and further enhanced our security. We keep the details of security fixes private in line with our security policy. Contact our Support team if you need more information.

MGNLCACHE-369 Prevent cache entries duplications
MGNLDAM-1471 Restrict bulk upload of files by MIME type

Administrators can now restrict the MIME types of files allowed for upload using the allowedMimeTypePattern property. The restriction can be applied to the bulk upload dialog in the Assets app as well as to the upload and edit field used when editing assets. A message is displayed for end users in the dialog to warn them of any limits configured. By default, all file types are allowed.
